Understanding democratic processes:

The children have chosen their representatives for the School Council by voting for willing candidates.

Mr Tuckett is the lead teacher regarding the School Council.

At Bunwell Primary school, British Values feature throughout our curriculum, with the children learning about democracy, having respect for one another and gaining an understanding of the range of faiths and beliefs in our society.

In order to develop a sense of fundamental British values the children in Y5/6 visited the polling station in Bunwell on the day of the Brexit referendum (23/06/16). The majority of children said they would vote Remain if they had a choice!
