Pancake Racing 2017.
A huge thank you to Ms Rolph for resurrecting a wonderful British tradition! The children and parents loved racing with the pancakes and a special thank you to class 4, Mrs Simon and Mrs Clarke for cooking one for every child! See the gallery page for more photos!
Thank you to Amir for coming in on Friday 24th February to show us how he teaches guitar and to demonstrate some skills. The children all enjoyed it and hopefully some will take up the instrument!
Over 20 of the pupils in Key Stage 2 took part in the annual panto. This year it was the Wizard of Oz, with 3 Dorothy’s. Ms Rolph would like to thank all of the pupils for their hard work bringing the play together. Well done.
Class 2 assembly!
A wonderful assembly was enjoyed by children and adults alike! Class 2 showed us the work they have been doing in English and how they have taken on the Talk for Writing method. Well done class 2!
Following our carol concert, the parents and members of the community were welcomed back to school to share in tea and mince pies. The pies were made by the members of class 4 and were absolutely delicious! Many people came and it was lovely to hear positive comments from parents and staff. Keep on cooking!
The children in KS1 put on a wonderful show for all of the Bunwell school community in the annual nativity. All of the children read their lines well and the scenery was excellent. Well done to all including the hard working staff who put it all together!
Anti Bullying Week 2016.
Class 3 have been working with Ms Rolph during PSHE lessons. This week they learned about how important anti bullying week is to our school. They created anti bullying posters to go up around the school as well as a barriers to friendship brick wall poster. As part of this they did a role play activity to show how to break down the barriers! Well done class 3!
Friday 11th November 2016
All of the children in KS2 took part in the service of remembrance at the church. Year 6 did a fantastic job in delivering the service and remembering the fallen of our village and throughout the world.

This is what happens when we get a visit from the Fire Service……Lots of children using hoses and a terrific amount of excitement! Here’s a photo of us at the end.

We enjoyed the recent visit of a climbing wall from Highline Adventure! The children had a wonderful day sharing sessions with the excellent instructors. A truly challenging and exciting experience for all.
Class 4 hosted the first class assembly of the year giving their thoughts on harvest on 21.9.2016
Great News! Eve Bensley is the winner of her age group across all the Norfolk Schools in the Bayer Crop Science Poetry Competition. She won £100 for herself and £500 for the school. There is a prizegiving in October.

Class 2 have been doing a lot of cooking with produce from the garden and grounds. Ratatouille and then later blackberry and apple crumble…..Delicious!

Over the summer holiday Mrs Dew and her children helped make Joseph’s dream of a real quiet corner in our playground a reality. What an amazing transformation of a brick wall! Thank you so much to all of the Dew family for their efforts.

Nothing could be finer than a quick dip in the lake during the wonderful annual trip to Whitlingham Lakes. Thanks to Mr T for organising this, an event supported by the Olympic Legacy funding to give our children experiences in sport.

All of us went out to watch the Aviva women’s cycle race in June. They went past really fast, but the motorcyclists kept us amused while we waited.
